You can have fun in San Diego without spending too much money. There are so many avenues for free fun. The fun-mongers can get value for their time with free and fun entertainment destinations in hip and happening San Diego.

San Diego is a place full of variety and various things to do and see. The very prominent feature of San Diego is its beaches. It has more than seventy miles of beaches. You could imagine how much of San Diego is at the beach and how much is on land!
San Diego has got a moderate temperature all year round. You will not huff and puff in sweaty conditions while on the beach or anywhere.

Beach time – San Diego Style
As mentioned above San Diego is full of beaches. You have so many miles of beach surface area. You can your own private entertainment sessions in certain areas of the beach. On account of the length of San Diego’s beaches, most of them are less crowded. You can spend quality time at the beach. Just you and the sea.

La Jolla Cove is a wonderful and romantic place to enjoy a sunset. It has so much cinematic value and ambience. You will enjoy the twilight horizon as the Sun settles in. Make sure to have your camcorder to video wonderful scenes of the setting Sun.

Seaport Village
In downtown San Diego, Seaport Village is a place full of free entertainment avenues. You can walk down the path ways, meet and greet pleasant people, shop for items, and all along have the bay at the corner of your eye.

Things to Do in San Diego

San Diego is a big city for tourism, and visiting large cities is often expensive as far as vacations go. This does not mean that you have to drop a lot of cash to enjoy everything that San Diego County has to offer. There are dozens of things that you can do in San Diego without spending much money if any at all.

San Diego is home to a wide variety of different beaches, and all are completely free to the public. Enjoy swimming and surfing, collect sea shells or play in the sand while enjoying the warm San Diego sun. Visit the La Jolla cove and enjoy the sunset. La Jolla Cove is known to be one of the most spectacular settings along the California coast. After spending the day at Torrey Pines beach hang gliding or collecting sea shells you can head into the Torrey Pines State park for a picnic. Torrey Pines is also known for spectacular birdwatching, so bring your binoculars.

Go downtown and visit the Seaport Village to explore leisurely strolling, window shopping and free entertaining. Seaport Village is one of many places throughout San Diego where you can experience free live music and plenty of other entertainment. At the Spreckels Organ Pavilion, for example, you can listen to free organ concerts every Sunday.

On the first Wednesday of each month you can visit the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center in San Diego’s Balboa Park to stargaze for free. Thanks to the San Diego Astronomy Association you can view the stars through a huge telescope for free. Balboa Park offers numerous other fun and interesting things to do, including 15 different museums, public organ concerts, daily park tours and all kinds of spectacular gardens. Many of these events are free to residents or on select days throughout the week.

There is no shortage of things to do, see or enjoy in San Diego for absolutely free.
